Daiva Balkus Sarah was by far the most talented and able artist I knew at Bennington; her paintings were a constant surprise with their audacity, foresight and ability. Sadly, I lost touch with her and have now learned that she continued to be an amazing friend, mother.

gail michelson I worked at the Soho News in classified advertising sales from 1979 until it closed. I still miss the place. I live in West Virginia and work as a public defender. I can be reached at gmichelson@wvdefender.com

Karen Broderick In this life, it is rare to come across a person as kind and generous as Sarah. It was a blessing to have known her and to know that there is hope for the human race because there are pure souls like hers among us.

Susan Wheeler Foot With deepest sympathy to Sarahs loving and caring family. I remember her cheerful and sweet nature.
